Good to see Marsho getting amongst them, Hogg still in form with the bat aswell..even Loye seems to have remembered how to hold a bat...probably get to the finals day again and choke.

Just watching the Middlesex/Surrey 2020 thrash from HQ. Think Surrey are at least 30 runs light. Get to see Godleman bat for the first time &, on cue, very nearly edges his first ball from Pedro Collins. Huh, and then plays around a straight one; palpably LBW for 2. Humph. A quick look indeed. Eoin Morgan to the crease.

Impressed with Dirk Nannes for Middlesex. Genuinely quick & swings it, if a bit erratic. Interesting cove; a former professional skier who didn't take up serious cricket until he was 28. Apparently. Dutch parents, so over here on an EU passport.

His development as a bowler has been pretty dramatic too. The first time I saw him two or three seasons ago in Australia, he was a wobbly seamer who had little rhythm through the crease. He always put lots of effort in at release, but he just looked awkward. He's changed his run up since then though, and when he's in full flow he can bowl at almost 150 clicks. Totally different bowler.

Chris Jordan looks like a good talents, played some really good looking shots first up. Nannes also looked good, interesting story.

I saw Jordon get up to 88-89mph in his final spell, which is really promising. With that tremendously high front leg, he is always going to have a large amount of pace and lift. What sort of pace did Nannes get up to in his second spell? I caught his first spell where he was bowling just 80-85mph, but presume that he might have got a bit quicker as he loosened up.

Nice.
You reckon the bowlers would have mostly never played with the leg side wide rule?:p

I'm watching the T20 on Sky Sports, Lancashire Vs Durham and the latter have a spinner who has clearly modelled himself on Shane Warne - ITSTL.

...and Croft then gets done in the flight and sticks one straight back at him. Don't mind losing to English leggies...
