***Official*** English Domestic Season 2007

Well, Yorkshire have limped to 122 all out in 39.5 overs.

Bad batting? Great Bowling? Dodgy Pitch? I guess we'll have to see how Durham get on, but given that yesterday they scored 218 in 30 overs at the same ground (and the overhead conditions are pretty similar as well), I doubt the pitch had too much to do with it.

Heh this is a drubbing and a half. Mustard going at 2 runs a ball again - 62* off 30, unreal.

That's it, 9 wicket win with 24.2 overs remaining in a 40 over game, Mustard finishes with 66* off 31 balls. The only wicket was a run out.

Durham absolutly crush Yorkshire, winning by 9 wickets with just the small matter of 146 balls remaining. Durham go to the top of the table (and increase their net run rate by a massive amount).

Mustard continuing his good form - 66 not out, from 31 balls (11x4's & 2x6's, s/r 212.9)

Tight finish over at Canterbury - Kent needing 11 off 8 balls against Somerset.

They got 13 off the last over in the T20 final, so I'd back them to do it I think.

Gutted - can't believe Kent have come within 3 runs of beating Somerset after being 45/5. Superb performance from McLaren though - 4/46 and 78* from 72 balls, but it wasn't quite enough. Looks like another year in Division 2 Pro40 for us...

After having a look at his List A and Twenty20 stats for this reason, I think the calls from some quarters (mainly Scaly piscine) have been fully justified.

Superb performance from Trigger :D 5-44 is his one-day best, I do believe.

Somerset thrashed Leics by 110 runs last night. Snape put them in to bat in a floodlit match  With their batting line-up? Shot himself in the foot just a teensy bit  Trescothick hit 54 of 40 and Langer 53 off 47 at the top of the order, then Hildy & Wes came together to put on 86 (Hildy 47 & Wes 43, both off 28 balls) - twas awesome to watch!! Bowling wasn't bad, either, & there were 3 cracking run-outs.

Drink up thy zider :D

Good recovery from Cook and Walker against Lancs yesterday - Kent's long batting lineup pays off for once. Hope we can press on beyond 350 and maybe even make maximum batting points if we score quickly enough.

Gibson once again doing great for Durham. 4 wickets for 23 runs from 8 overs.

Worcestershire in some trouble at 58/4

And Worcestershire are all out for 182. Ottis Gibson getting 7 for 46 in 18 overs. That takes his total in the county championship this season to 55 (at an average of 21.61)

Hmm not a great reply from Durham, 201-7 with Batty taking 5-fer. Somewhat poor getting ripped to bits by him, I presume the pitch is a bit of a bunsen/minefield.

Runs appear to be flowing once the batsman get themselves set though, Durham would've been aiming at 350 odd, not looking likely now.

Pitch inspectors might be interested in this one. With Worcestershire's awful batting, I can see this one being over in two days.

Pretty poor from Kent's tail yesterday - only adding 7 runs in the morning, although 327 in itself isn't all that bad having been 234/7. Bowling wasn't all that great apart from Saggers. McLaren's broken his thumb which means he'll most likely be out for the rest of the season, and Malinga has just been a bit crap really.

Can't wait for Amjad Khan to come back next season - hopefully he won't be facing Division 2 sides.

Did Mahmood or Murali get injured? Looking at the scoredcard, one of them bowled half an over.

Also, is Denly injured, he seems Tredwell seems to be opening the Kent batting.
