Durham going well against Leicestershire. Chasing 216, they're 85/1 after 9.5 overs.

Phil Mustard continuing to impress. He's so far scored 42 off 16 balls (8 fours and a six) s/r 262.5.

Heh yea, somewhat disgusting that the clown known as Prior with the strike rate of Ian Bell and the batting average of Ashley Giles is England's limited overs keeper.

Well, he's the highest runscorer in the Friends Provident trophy, and as of this exact minute he's the highest runscorer in either of the 2 divisions of the pro40 (247 runs. Next nearest is M Lumb with 223 in Division 1, although for fairness sake we should mention that he's played only 3 games compared to Mustard's 5).

He's certainly not doing his chances any harm at all. If he keeps up this scoring then it'll only be a matter of time before he gets a chance.

The problem is he should be straight into England's ODI and Twenty20 side, but he won't be unless Prior gets injured. Mustard in for Prior could make an absolutely huge difference if Mustard can translate even a fraction of his dominance over county cricket into ODIs and the Twenty20 World Cup - which I think he will do.

I agree completely.

If I have one small criticism of Mustard, it's that he doesn't score enough centuries. He's just been trapped LBW. Still, as the attacking of the two openers, scoring 78 from 40 balls, 12 fours, 2 sixes, s/r 195 gets Durham off to a great start for the middle order to take over.

Lol, why have all of the Nottinghamshire players got ridiculous moustaches?
Most sides do it every year for a bit of fun (Sussex did it last year for some time) but I believe Notts are also doing it to raise money for breast cancer research or some cancer related disease. Anyone who decides to shave his facial hair has to put £100 in the kitty.

The Outlaws director of cricket Mick Newell was also partaking in the frolics but he had to shave his off this week for he was attending some important meetings and he said that looking like a vagabond wasn’t helping his cause.

Haha ok.

Steven Fleming's looks OK, but the rest are pretty dire.

Fleming's makes him look like a Mexican bandit, but Swann's is just a bit of ginger fluff really. Seemed to help his bowling though - and a few good returns at this stage of the season won't do his tour prospects any harm at all.

Just seen the Yorkshire score - looks like Surrey's Chris Jordan has elbowed Saker and Dernbach out for the rest of the season, which I'm not too unhappy about. I just hope he isn't going to be another Tudor.

Not sure Jade or Neil would get the likes of Inzi out with an off-cutter... Jordan looks to be a really decent prospect, which is great for Surrey for they don’t have a plethora of talented seamers.
