For Lancashire they need to get Durham out with in 21 overs 2moro & then bat well & try to get to 400 which will give them enough points to draw level with Sussex. Then go into the final match againts the Big Hampshire next wednesday & look for a while hoping the defending champs dont get beat by Sussex...

I was half awake and half a sleep watching the Hampshire game yesterday and maybe it was because I was in a comatose like state but was Matt Le Tissier doing commentary?
Sure as hell sounded like him.
Pretty poor going from the Sky team, the only words this guy (whoever he may be) muttered (throughout) were ‘Oh Nooo’, indeed.
8-)

Matt Le Tissier was certainly at the game because he adressed the crowd on behalf of Tony Middletons benefit

Yeah he came on to do 30 mins of commentary, spent most of it talking about golf and football than the cricket mind :)

Things not going well for Lancashire @ OT it seems, the boys gotta dig deep or even though they have played well this season they could end up with nothing.

Good to see the strongest team in the country confirming their position by signing some stars, in the form of Steffan Jones, some fellow called Kieswetter, and some other fellow..

Argh, they're not showing Lancashire's championship match on TV, damn.

I'm really annoyed this season, we would be in a much better position than this if it wasn't for the bloody weather.

8 bloody draws and more than 1000 overs lost, i have faith, but i think our chances are looking bleak now.

Ha, i would have but after Cork's BRILLIANT century this afternoon the Lancs are back on track to win the title.
In that they need other sides to mess up to win it you mean?

was down at OT for the final home game of the season, Cork definately is in brilliant batting form, just needs to take it to the rosebowl. The best site was seeing Anderson bowl for about 5 overs, looked fairly good. Just needs a good game next week to help Lancashire push even harder for the Championship.

well the Notts beat Sussex, so that will give them confidence going into their final game next week.

Anderson got through 7 overs, lets hope this decreases the chance of the nightmare duo (saj and plunkers), starting against the Aussies.

Why couldn't Somerset play like that for most of the season?? They took Surrey to pieces...some tidy bowling & good wickets from Wes & great batting from Arul Suppiah (51), Hildy (39) & a cracking 27 off 17 from Blackie.

Nearly 7 months til I'm back at the County Ground :(

Yay, we survived relegation!!

I thought we were done for after the loss to Middlesex.

Is Anderson going to be playing in the Hampshire match?
