Unexpected batting fightback from Durham, Benkenstein on 133* supported by Mustard (45), big Ottis Gibson hitting 81 and now Onions on 28*. Durham now well past Warwickshire's score of 208 after Durham were 62-5.

Glamorgan v Derbyshire news:

Glamorgan opens the bowling with Dean Cosker and Robert Croft. Even India usually give the new ball to a seamer... :D

Yesterday and today I went to Taunton to see Worcestershire play Somerset. I continued my feeble, ultimately futile attempt to win the Eagar Award by taking a lot of photos, and I also met Ray Price, who is an awesome guy. I'd write more but I have trouble with the keyboard on my home computer- it'd be full of typos and would take me about an hour.
EDIT oh **** the pictures aren't resizing themselves like my others have done. There goes the chance of the award.

gosh Clarke is in hot form of late, i wonder how much has he really improved.
I reckon his batting's not what it was 3 years ago and his bowling's about the same. OK, he's made a lot of runs today, but the situation was pretty easy. I think his career's really at a crossroads. If he weants it bad enough, he can put in the hard yards and move up a couple of gears. If not, he has the ability to settle for life as a county regular.

Good recovery from Frost and Streak to set Durham a slightly challenging target, we'll still lose though.
Lets hope so, 62-2 at close with a somewhat weird batting order.

Action from the third day. Apart from White, who was unlucky in the second innings, Somerset had no answer to Sillence and Batty (well supported by Ray- he never has any luck and could have taken three or four wickets), and they deserve to lose this match.

Hampshire complete their crushing of Notts. Crawley two centuries in the match, he loves batting against Notts

Besides we had effectively lost the match by getting blown away so quickly, it wasn't the amount runs that was the nail in the coffin it was the fact they had two whole days left.

20 off 2 needed for Durham, but Benkenstein's still there. Looks like a very interesting finish.
Their having lunch now? isn't there like an extra half-hour they can claim? because i don't think they will be able to eat anything with the game situated as it is.
