I live next door to Ian Blackwell's missus, he left the field with a bad back today, and I reckon it wasnt cricket balls he was pumping around last night..

Luckily the Sky Sports team have done their best to reassure England fans by mumbling cryptically about "doubts" over Jimmy Anderson's fitness without further explanation.
Stress fracture of the back I've just read...

So is he out of the reckoning for the Test squad as well then? ;)

Come to think of it, if you could hear it from a mile away he must be making up for his lack of cricketing prowess in other areas!

My money's on:

Hoggard
Flintoff
Plunkett
Mahmood
Panesar

Mahmood's a bit left-field I know, but it could happen.
Tremlett is fit, isn't he? I'd rather have a half-fit Tremlett than Mahmood...though I don't think SL will play Jon Lewis well at all.

Tremlett didn't play yesterday for Hampshire, the announcer just said he was "injured", that was all.

And I'm slowly coming round to the idea of Jon Lewis. He was a bit of a flop in ODIs, but there's no Gilchrist at the top of SL's order....

In the circumstances, I'd play him: at this time of the year, you'd fancy him to make better use of any helpful conditions.

Am I right in saying, that after 294 matches, Harvey has FINALLY score a List-A ton? Whoa. :D

Last load of pics, won't be doing any for a bit

That's an awesome pic Rich, good stuff. I like the other one's too, the expression on the batsman's face in the first one as he's waiting for the umpire's decision is great.

Following on from Neil Carter's maiden ton the day before.

Well bowled Scotland.

Ironically Carter said the key to his to (135 from 86 balls) was patience...

cheers, Ive had a bit of criticism that my photos are just action, not personal enough.. Often the batsmans reaction is better than his stump flying out of the ground kind of thing.. thanks anyway

I was at the Durham game yesterday as you would expect....

It was a thrilling game of One Day Cricket and one of the most enjoyable I have seen in a long time. Northants came out storming. Ottis Gibson, who is looking in great nick thus far, took his usual early wicket but White really put on a show hitting 5 sixes in his innings of 54. Shafayat played some corking shots and Sales had a nice innings leaving the side at 195-7.

Bowling wise we were up and down. Collingwood was awful 0-38 in just three overs. Mick Lewis looked sharp and in good shape taking a superb wicket with a peace of a delivery. Gibson has looked good all season so far and was dangerous again and Plunkett was costly but took two wickets for 44 in his overs. Breesey did his usual job of contaniing and deserved his wicket and Benks came in and took 3-42 in his six overs. Nothing to shout about but some solid bowling in places.

Speaking of Benks he again wowed us fans with a match winning 63 not out. It wasn't looking good for us at all and the required run rate peaked at 8 per over half way through the innings. Jon Lewis is a poor player and its only a matter of time before he is dropped and after an impressive innings against Lancs Maher is back to his single-figure self. Collingwood played like it was a test match and even when he tried to hit shots they didnt come off. His score only looks respectable because he finally got down to buisness in his last few balls but then idiotically ran when there wasn't a run on, slipped when trying to come back and was thus ran out. Muchall did nothing either and in terms of not playing strokes and being far too conservative he was worse than Colly. Finally Benks and Pratty got in an buisness picked up. The run rate came soaring down and by the time Breesey was in it was down to under 5 and Benks was still in there chipping away. Breesey went for glory and ran half way down the wicket to hit the big shot but was bolwed and philly Mustard game in and played a peach of a shot through the slips to win the game.

A great gameof cricket made even better by the result

Its time Jon Lewis was dropped and either Ben Harmison or Gary Scott given their chance

I thought it was the fact that he was dropped in the 20s and should have gone for nothing if the fine leg was where he should have been. Brutal and entertaining knock but if that is what he calls 'patience's' then I would love to seem him going for it.
