W00t.

Chris Hinton suggested that Derbyshire should be thrown out of the league. Great to see that they are competitive even against the might of HRH Surrey.

Kent are going well against Durham. Killen seems to be bowling economically with under 1.7 now but other than decent overs from Breese and Benks it seems we aren't offering much.

We just took a vital wicket today with Breese bowling to Walker who got stumped.

The only chance of a result here is if Kent Crumble and we can enforce the follow on and bowl some heroics but the draw looks a cert

Just as I speak Benks takes Stevens with a catch by Pratt....230-4 Kent. Benks 2-23 in 9 overs.

This makes things interesting

I think nothing less than Richard Burton's magnificent oration will suffice.

I'm playing Jeff Wayne's "War of the Worlds"

Both Gloucs. and Derbyshire have suprised me with their starts to the opening games. Never saw them winning these games, particualry Gloucs.

Another for Durham.....this is getting interesting. Onions gets the wicket. His figures have dissapointed me for this innings as he has looked so good since coming back from India.

At 243-5 this is very interesting

Onions strikes again!

I was talking Onions up all week and finally he delivers. 251-6 now and we are storming....2 bowling points, 5 batting points and a huge smile on my face.

Come on boys!

It's all down to my choices of music - and the gods making up to me for 2 years of pain.

With Surrey following on and 15-0 in their second knock, I just might have to bring Focus (Hocus Pocus) on for a few bars, with possibly Curved Air (Vivaldi) from the other end.
