If they're good enough, who in the team will they replace?

Actually, they need to get in the 14 first!
True, but there's certainly places up for grabs in the oneday side. At least, there should be.

If Solanki really has tightened up and scores heavily over the next month and a half, then you could see him coming back in September instead of Key from the recent triangular tourny. If nothing else, his superior fielding would give VS a 20 run start over RK. As for Kabir, I can't see Gough being around for long, whatever the man himself may say. None of which is to say these guys should definitely come back for the ICC cash-in, but those are the potential vacancies as I see it.

Steve davis will play for England by 21
Well i mentioned him in my earlier thread cos he is a top talent but England by 21 might be pushing it :) but he'll be playing for England u19's vs Bangladesh this summer on sky sports so none worcestershire supporters can get a look at him then :) (as he gets out for 2 ducks probably lol  )

He's made it once he becomes a regular for worcestershire :) not a moment before. He played for worcestershire vs Sri Lanka 'a' earlier this season, hopefully next season he'll get a few more games.

I only ask because I googled him and couldn't find any profile.
Theres not much about him, he comes from my home town tho which probably gives me a little bias when it comes towards him :)
He's only 18 (was 17 at u19 world cup) and can Keep wicket but played as a batsmen only in the WC.

Heres a brief profile of him off Worcestershires main site. But it doesnt say much.

Please avoid this post if you don't really care for NZ'ers coming into a thread they've barely posted in at all just to praise his countrymen. :)

Bwahaha, Adams did well yesterday, I was so happy. He beats the Windies captain by nine balls for fastest FC century this season, I think - 80 balls to get to his 100, and three sixes in a row at one point - all on a day where the bowlers were doing so well, too! Not bad for a guy who's used to coming in at #9... still, he's in there mainly for his bowling, hope he can actually pick up some wickets. If the rain goes away. Good day for NZ'ers, too, with Franklin taking a five-for with the possibility of two more wickets to his name later today.

Very relieved to see Adams performing though. I wish he'd do that at international level (consistently), too. I wish I could have seen that innings...

Now he can become a more tighter bowler and don't go to pot when he is bowling in the slog overs then he would justify a spot in the ODI team.

Franklin just got Dinesh Mongia so his figures now read: 6/58.

I personally think NZ players are good value for English Counties..they probably don't come with huge wage demands, the majority are team players & generally all NZ players field very well.

Both Franklin & Adams have recorded personal bests over the last 2 days.

Adams with his century & now Franklin with 7/60 being his best FC haul. His previous best was 6/40 for Wellington.
