Well, why bowl the last ball then, if Warwickshire would have won on fewer wickets down anyway? They couldn't have taken two wickets with one ball (oh, hang on, run out off a no-ball...never mind)

As soon as the no ball was bowled, the match is over.

In the current Twenty20 series, Neil Carter is an opening bowler who also opens the batting and hits sixes. Should the selectors keep a watch on him? Another player worth a watch would be Andrew Harris, who bowls at a good pace. Your opinion?

In a word, no.

His opening is very very haphazard (makes Afridi look a consistent player) and his bowling is nothing great.

He is a good cricketer, but not really international standard..

IMO he is capable of more than Clarke and Anthony McGrath... But that doesn't mean anything does it!!? :)

No chance of Lancashire getting to the final in my opinion, for all their talent they just keep under performing. Flintoff wont be allowed to play on monday i would imagine given the first test is on the Thursday.

Then why not try him out? Anyone is worth a try, except those two. Besides, are you talking of Carter or Harris?

Where do you gather this from? McGrath has a better batting and bowling record than Carter by far in FC cricket and a better batting record in OD cricket.

IMO people are far too harsh on Anthony McGrath. Ok, he's no Michael Vaughan, but he's not as bad as some tend to preach.

You obviously haven't seen much of him then. In my book, he simply isn't international standard.

My point is not whether he is international standard or not. My point is that he's not one of the worst of county batsmen as some seem to suggest. For instance, Neil Carter doesn't appear to be a better player than he by any means.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS we are in the final

Did you see thaty Marc and Neil Solanki Innings. It was simply Class, infact it was a Great Performance from Worcestershire

We will win it

Erm, Gloucestershire will win.

And as I said elsewhere, it's 1 innings to be countered by numerous, almost constant in fact, failures at ODI level.

Jeez, Neil's left the country for 12 weeks and you still go at him! Tough world for some.

I'll echo their sentiments though...1 innings, at domestic level, against an uninspiring attack...

While you dream about his 2 decent ODI innings, the rest of us will carry on having nightmares about the others.
