Worcester 24-4 - but they're through already aren't they?

Knight and Wagh are pacing this chase well so far I think. 71 needed from 57 balls.

Oh dear Chris, Worcstershire aren't going to get a home tie in the quarters, mefinks.

Essex, meanwhile, do get one if they win. If Irani stays in, I think we have a chance - he's in, we're 11-1.

No worries. :P

Warwickshire couldn't chase 135...muppets. Oh well, they should still go through.

Unofficial tables:

MWW: Glam 8, Worcs 6, Warks 5 (NRR about 0.5) Somerset 5 (behind on NRR), Gloucs 4, Northants 2.

North: Leics 7, Lancs 6, Derbys 5 (NRR about 0), Yorks 4 (game not finished), Notts 4, Durham 2 (game not finished).

South: Surrey 9, Hants 6, Essex 5 (game not finished, NRR about 1), Kent 4, Middx 3, Sussex 1 (game not finished).

So, that means Leicestershire, Lancashire, Surrey, Hampshire, Worcestershire and Glamorgan are through...Warwickshire would have been had they won, now they have to hope that Durham chase 127 at Chester-le-Street (111/3 with 20 balls to go), most likely Essex are through too, unless they get trounced by about 4 overs by Sussex.

Bit of cunfusion, Cricinfo says tie, bbc teletext says warwicks won on losing fewer wickets, guess i'll believe Cricinfo.

good to see Lancs through, shame we won't see flintoff in the quarters, will we?

Wasn't that a hat-trick for Corky too?
Guess it must have been, Pietersen, Ealham, Patel he only bowled one over so it cant have been split between two and there wasn't a run between the wickets

Well, why bowl the last ball then, if Warwickshire would have won on fewer wickets down anyway? They couldn't have taken two wickets with one ball (oh, hang on, run out off a no-ball...never mind)

*goes to find official Twenty20 book of rules*

Right, that means we have the eight teams then (unless Essex screw it up extremely badly against Sussex):

Home: Surrey, Glamorgan, Leicestershire, Essex (if they win, otherwise Worcestershire)
Away: Lancashire, Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Hampshire.

Is it a random draw, or 1 v 8, 2 v 7, 3 v 6 and 4 v 5?
