neither are there any positive things to say about giles :p

He's the best of a bad bunch of English spinners.

It's interesting to note that of all the English spinners career records, his is best, and he barely gets a chance to play in County Cricket any more.

Hey Solanki is back to somewhere near his best this season after a dreadful summer last year, batty is playing well and kabir was young player of the year last year!

Solanki's best is truly something to make International fast bowlers have nightmares about, isn't it?!

If anyone ever says that Michael Vaughan can't play One Day cricket again, they deserve to be laughed out of town...

Quite marvellous today.

Great knock by Vaughan today. I know his scoring has been pretty poor of late but i really feel he is on the cusp of some great form again. Remember form is temporary, class is permanent.

Yep, by the Ginger's account, he played sublimely.

That's good news, I got a good feeling for Vaughan and this WI series.

There is IMO alot of positive things to say about Giles.

As long as when he's over the wicket, and he's got someone on the sweep, and he bowls leg stump, with the rough...he's handy.

He even outscored Neil Carter with his 43 from 18!

Still 343-4 is an adequate effort from Warwickshire.
That is amazing batting by Warwickshare.

Sersiouly, either the pitches are too flat, the outfields are very fast or the bowlers are hopeless.

And when was the last time he did something for England in ODIs?

Or could it be the batting was good?!

It is Warwickshire after all!

He also has next to no hope of getting in the Test team for a while.

Or do the selectors not know talent either?

Well Kabir has played only one ODI and Test.

If we were to judge everything on one match, Shane Warne would not have taken 516 more wickets then what he has done since his Test debut.

If Harmison, S.Jones, Hoggard, Anderson, Saggers all fall over injured he might.

Kabir is only 22 and has Bags of Talent, you dont know talent if it smack you in the backside
I'd back the selectors' judgement over yours one hundred times out of one hundred.

Kirtley, Johnson, Caddick, Flintoff, Giles?
Caddick's Test career is all but over.

Anyway I was referring to the specialist seam bowl bowlers. Flintoff is not included in that list since he is a all-rounder (I mean Flintoff isn't soley picked for his bowling as a bowler).
