So let's bring back Bumble?a massive zebra said:Only David Lloyd, with his tender loving cheer, got the best out of him. Ramprakash has the talent but is emotionally vulnerable and needs to be treated with respect so cannot succeed under tyranical dictators like Fletcher.
Why? Ramprakash is getting old now and Bumble was an even less successful England coach than the overweight lump that is the tyranical Duncan Fletcher.Neil Pickup said:So let's bring back Bumble?
No, the Bears are just far superior...chris.hinton said:We are crap
Yes, becuase Fletcher has been so unsuccessful...a massive zebra said:Why? Ramprakash is getting old now and Bumble was an even less successful England coach than the overweight lump that is the tyranical Duncan Fletcher.
I dont like the guys methods... But who am I to argue when the results are there??a massive zebra said:Why? Ramprakash is getting old now and Bumble was an even less successful England coach than the overweight lump that is the tyranical Duncan Fletcher.
Yes but Lloyd was even worse. He hardly won anything. I know Fletcher cannot win ODI series away and does not win many test series but at least he won in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, admittedly a long time ago, but still an achievement.marc71178 said:Yes, becuase Fletcher has been so unsuccessful...
I was being sarcastic. Under Lloyd we were down at the bottom of the tables...a massive zebra said:Yes but Lloyd was even worse. He hardly won anything.

ramprakash's problems all lied in the mind....he threw his wicket away rather than had the bowler dismissing him. on innumerable occasions we've seen ramprakash get a start, look good and then throw it away with a careless shot....and who will ever forget the time he came dancing down the track to shane warne at a time when the pressure was on and england were for once in with a chance.badgerhair said:Would you care to enumerate Ramprakash's faults?
He's the only player for whom I predicted a big future when he was still a very junior county cricketer who hasn't made it at least pretty big in Test cricket, and it's been a great disappointment to me that he didn't. I'll be quite happy to explain my view of why he failed, but I'd be interested to know what someone else perceived as his faults.
Cheers,
Mike

I am quite lost myself.... Rob Key and Khan/Sami dig the team out of a bottomless pit and manage to force the lead upto 170ish with just over a session to go (even with say 35 overs that's still 5 an over to win) yet the captain has a brainwave to bowl Saggers, Khan and Sami a total of 9 overs and allow two batsman in Walker and Carberry bowl basically the whole innings and not forgetting front line bowlers like Ferely didn't even get a go so needless to say we got stuffed within 35 overs - You know Iam not expecting to win, but surely we could have at least made them work hard for a victory, we might have even got a draw
Here's hopping a nice nights rest will clear his mind and tommorow he can come back and be sane for the C&G match with Warwickshire, oh actually we can't play One Day cricket this season for toffee so I'll let him off tommorow
