It's just so ridiculous, we should just be happy they didn't drop Jimmeh when he hit 30, because they'd reckon he wouldn't make the next Ashes.
welcome to English cricket
He should be at home, should never play an away match again though. Why the **** is Chris Woes still a thing though
the selectors either can't get their head round the fact that the above is possible or they just don't wanna upset a 'top bloke', 'team player' etc etcHe should be at home, should never play an away match again though.
Lol the bloke’s a medium pacer, do you even watch cricket?would challenge robinson to be the attack leader in this series. he is the seamer with the biggest upside by some distance england have.
He's also within an inch or two of KJ and moves it around off impeccable areas. Class bowler. You don't need to be quick if you have height and bounce (it's nice but height gives you leeway).Lol the bloke’s a medium pacer, do you even watch cricket?
They're both still ranked in the top dozen of the ICC ranking of bowlers.Honestly don't think dropping Broad and Anderson is that bad really, they've not been great in a good era for pace bowling on the whole.
That's fair, though I was focusing more on the wicket taking abilities of both bowlers. England really need someone who can take early wickets and these two haven't been doing that consistently without some assistance from conditions. They won't be say Pat Cummins, but if these two are England's spearheads/main options, then they're falling short compared to other pace bowlers who've been striking more frequently in more varied conditions. Basically I think they've become more along the lines of secondary options, especially overseas. Great at keeping things tight, but they're not really guaranteed to blow games apart with their bowling unless it's favouring swing/seam a lot. They're both still ranked in the top dozen of the ICC ranking of bowlers.
