**Official** England in The West Indies

WI are starting to go mad here....a score of 160 on the cards...and if England dont get the overs in, they may only get about 28 or 29 overs to get the runs

97 of 96 required, but the key is the 9 wickets in hand..England must be faves to win this....as i type Strauss is bowled....game on

Flintoff promoted up the order slighty, could be a intresting spell now with Trescothick speeding up and the big hitter at the middle.

despite some great hitting by Blackwell, the pressure is now just starting to get to England...only 3 wickets to go...37 from 28..Gough in...surely WI have got this in the bag

Has to be Chanderpaul for me.

What a performance from him, Read and Gayle (with the ball). Had me gnawing on the nails, that's for sure.

Id be shocked if its not Chanderpaul

<---- SHOCKED :P

I can see why Read won it....but chanderpaul scored like 3x more than ANY other batsmen in the entire game and paced his innings perfectly... bet he's wondering what he has to do to get one :)

Sounds like England almost snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.
If someone had followed Chanderpauls example then the West Indies could have scored 200 or a bit more.

By the looks of it, the pitch must have been a poor one? obviously due to the wet weather of course.

What a game eh! Great hitting from Read at the end there. It adds even more spice to the Read V Jones debate.

By the sounds of things, it was just very very slow with the odd ball which stayed rather low.

Plus, because of the rain, the groundstaff were unable to cut the outfield which left it a tad long according to the radio.

People watching might be able to give a more accurate description.

Though we did have a collapse at the end, just glad someone stood up and was counted, bit worrying that it took the 6th and 8th batsman to whack the ball out the ground but still.......I'm a happy Englishman tonight. (I'm easily pleased :))
