For me:
Trescothick
Vaughan
Strauss
Collingwood
Flintoff
Clarke
Read
Giles
Anderson
Gough
Kirtley
I wouldn't agree with Butcher's paragraph either.tooextracool said:agree with most of it except for hussain's.

my guess is that hes more of a defensive player and not really suited to batting in the 30 over game.then again he shouldnt be playing thenArjun said:In that team suggested by Mark Nicholas, why is Strauss battign at 7? Isn't he an opener?
64/4..Smith out...WI would do well to get to 140, which i dont think will be enough..but we shall seePY said:Chanderpaul is having an absolute nightmare.
Wow, while I'm typing this, the crowd comes alight as Chanderpaul mortals Harmison for 4 and 6 off consecutive balls. Was having a bad time of it before those.
England still on top IMO with the scores being:
West Indies - 60/3 (17 overs)
Chanderpaul 22* (56 balls)
Smith 13* (15)
Flintoff bowled really well from what I hear, and he's 'an angry man' quoting Mark Nicholas so could bode well for the batting
Who knows mate, there are certianly better options about... Hell even Trescothick is showing him upLangeveldt said:Can someone tell me why Rikki Clarke is playing for England?
I sometimes get the impression that the administrators of this glorious game actually try to look like feeble idiots...

Neither is Dawson/Batty/Sidebottom/S.Jones/Giles/McGrath/Afzaal amongst others who have played for England recently.Swervy said:yeah i agree, he isnt of international standard as far as I am concerned
