Fortunately for you, you're not on international radio, so you get away with it. MCJ doesn't.
Boo-hoo. Spit your dummy out. :P 8D

Surely you must be slightly happy that England are winning? :)

No. It takes more than one game of poor strokes to turn him into a McGrath\Pollock\Gillespie.

Going to win. :P There is no "winning" in cricket.
Happiness doesn't detract from my analytical ability.

I dont think anyones comparing him to any of them...im certainly not, but he's got the potential to be a very good bowler for england over the coming years as he sorts his accuracy out.

43-9

West Indies lowest EVER score is 51...looks in danger ;)

Dont want to go OTT but this spell has been one of the best you'll likely to see in test cricket by an englishmen for a long time. I mean i cant remember a bad ball, the wicket is relatively flat and he's just cut his pace down slightly and put everyball on the spot.
Oh, look, another one.
The wicket is no longer flat, have you seen the number of balls tha have spat this morning?
It might be one of the best spells of figures but that one that's just gone was about the first decent delivery. Nicely pitched - wait for it - away-swinger! Harmison swinging the ball! Still, shame, it won't get credit as the batsman wasn't of a big reputation.

Something tells me West Indies need to try and find some bowlers who can bat. :P

Are the pro-Harmison guys going to stop going OTT? The West Indies just keep throwing their wickets away. I'm pretty sure, and I'm watching the Test right now, that most sides with any control would be 100-1 at the moment.

Gayle: Rash shot at a ball he should have left
Smith: Mis-hit shot, basically poor
Chanderpaul: Nothing delivery edged onto stumps, lapse of concentration
Sarwan: Missed a straight ball most batsmen would have blocked, lapse of concentration
Lara: Edged a good outswinger but overall poor shot
Hinds: Edges a pretty ordinary ball, poor shot
Jacobs: Has a go at a short one he could have left easily
Best: Edges short one he should have left
Sandford: Typical tailender edge to slip.

To be fair most of the wickets in this game have been poor batting rather than amazing bowling. Tresco's leaden-footed cut has become a trade-mark for him. Nass and Thorpe gifted them away too.

I doubt it.

Still, barring a miracle it's 10 points for each of us in the predictions league (which I note a fair few of the more vocal members of the forum decline to enter)

no matter how badly the WI's have batted, this may turn out to be a big turning point for Harmison who is a bowler who needs confidence to succeed...he will genuinely feel now that he can compete on a test level

Funnily enough, before anyone was out today they were complementing Harmison on his first couple of overs - explain that?

Actually I'm disapointed, it's the last thing I wanted to see. The game set up beutifully and then the West Indies completely loose their heads and gift England just about every one of their wickets. I'm feeling quite robbed, since the only people who have got the WIndies into this position are their batsmen. What happened to pride?

Harmison is on 6-12. I must say I've never seen a Division 2 Team play this poorly.

47 all out....West Indies lowest ever score in test cricket.

Harmison 7-12 best bowling figures ever at Sebrina Park.

The time for being analytical is not right now.

Maybe I'll wait until I've stopped jumping up and down on my bed....:saint:
