I know he's not playing in this game, but am I the only one who thinks Terrance Hinds seems a little bit of an odd choice for the West Indies squad?

He's 32 (crapinfo doesn't have a birthdate for him, but I have seen one from other sources), doesn't have a particularly good domestic record (even in the most recent CPL he was only decent as opposed to great) and he doesn't even really look a massively interesting bowler from the little bit of him I have seen


Having said this though, he'll probably take 5 for and hit a 20 ball 50 next game knowing how good some of my player judgements have been over the years

Darren Sammy is a practical coach. Terrence Hinds was one of the standouts in the CPL. Sammy saw that and roped him in the squad.
