Lazy bastardNo excuse. I've never been up before about 9 (and usually not before 10) the last 2 years, managed 4:25 today.
Yeah, I would, but unfortunately my laptop is in my bedroom which is the room next-door to the sitting-room which is the room which has the Sky+ box in it, which means I have the choice of CW and one Test or two Tests and no CW.Trying to watch two test matches at oce
Hey Rich you do realize you can move your lap top..Yeah, I would, but unfortunately my laptop is in my bedroom which is the room next-door to the sitting-room which is the room which has the Sky+ box in it, which means I have the choice of CW and one Test or two Tests and no CW.
No-brainer really.
Lazy bastard
Yay, someone spotted the underlying irony instantly...Hey Rich you do realize you can move your lap top..
Thought it was pretty plumb myself TBH, no-one could have had any complaints if it'd been given out, MSP could justifiably be aggrieved that it wasn't, and if Sangakkara ends-up with a massive score England can justifiably be very aggrieved.Consensus amongst the commentators seems to be that Sanga was a bit lucky to be there still. Not out for me; ball still looked to be climbing when it hit him. Horrible leave tho.
I manage the early morning ones fairly easily TBH. Got to go to work at 7 though. Found the Ashes tour difficult, in more ways than one, managed to watch all the days play in the 1st two tests then go to work knackerd.Couldn't handle the Perth one though with the later start & then ended up just watching highlighs of the last 2 tests also.
I'm proud of myself TBH, really struggled with Pakistan and India in 2005\06. First time I've done this early-morning lark since India in 2001\02, having managed it with Pakistan and Sri Lanka in 2000\01.
Welllllllllllll...Great start for England. Lets hope when i wake up i find we pushed on and bowled them out for under 150. But knowing England they'll scrap to half decent 250 or so
Never plumb. Might have been out, but it wasn't out-out. I'm always happier for the doubt to go to the batsman. Even if it was technically the wrong decision, I think Dar made the right one for a standing umpire. I'm assuming there's no hawkeye for the series as well, as I haven't seen it used to check the shout yet.Thought it was pretty plumb myself TBH, no-one could have had any complaints if it'd been given out, MSP could justifiably be aggrieved that it wasn't, and if Sangakkara ends-up with a massive score England can justifiably be very aggrieved.
Doubly so given the catching so far's been excellent.
West Indies was probably the series I watched less attentively than any since 1998 TBH, 'cos of the job I was working at at the time.I manage the early morning ones fairly easily TBH. We need a West Indies tour sharpish 3pm-4pm & can catch most of the days play after work.
