I'm hoping to squeeze a couple of hours in before my other half drags me round my aunt & uncles for the avo! :D
The day will be all but over by then?

Play starts 7.30?

Right time to go, Vaughan lost the toss again (surprise) and England will bat on a green pitch. Morning session could be most important one in the test.

Anyone think SA might have gone a bit far strengthening their batting?

Can't help but think that they could have left Hall in instead of Van Jaarsveld. They would still have had Boje at nine. But if Kallis does himself a mischief, given that this would be his first test back bowling, you're left with 4 bowlers, one of which is in his second test match, one of which is in his first match back from injury.

It is an interesting selection.

Obviously the Amla pick doesn't have anything to do with the population in Durban either!

And you accuse others of making conspiracy posts without facts.

So of course the fact that it was said he'd play in Durban regardless of the first Test performances before the series started is irrelevant then isn't it?

Well seeing as they said it more than a week prior to the match, what do you think?

It's an extension of the already stupid quotas.

Wow, has the South African bowling attack suddenly stopped being completely useless?
Nope they are bowling better but its shocking batting mostly, as exemplified by Jones' dismissal
