It's flopped a bit given the start we had after 3 overs.

SA have a lead on the gun running catches now too. That's usually how you win games.

That was not good.... maybe trying to tackle Duminy out of the side!

Seriously though they were lucky to get away with no damage there...

I think England are taking their own "play without inhibitions in LO cricket" message a little too seriously.

Indeed,we're going to get bowled out again before the overs are up.

Giving Tahir wickets has to be one of the worst things in cricket,

The top ranked bowlers all being spinners in T20 is probably just because the fast bowlers are getting rested all the time. The only one in there is McClenaghan and I'm not convinced he's even first XI for NZ

I think this is a bit of an over-reaction to one **** innings. Root has an awesome record in T20Is. Nothing wrong with Vince but if he's to play it shouldn't be Root he replaces.
I'd have Root open with Hales and have Vince, Ali or Taylor at 3.

I think it's a few factors. This is a big one, but I'd also argue that spinners tend to bowl at easier times in T20 cricket, and (probably most crucially) there are also a disproportionate amount of T20Is played in Asia and the West Indies where spin is a bigger factor.

In the last five years, percentage of matches including at one Test playing nation played in Asia/WI:

T20Is: 62.44%
ODIs: 48.66%
Tests: 48.57%
