Umpires are just trying to salvage whatever they can for England here. They've been giving all the help they can to try and give England a chance, but this is getting to be completely ridiculous. If England don't win, with all that help, they should be thrown out of their country. And I don't think it's right for matches to be fixed by umpires in an effort to promote cricket in any country, either.

Whether they win this game or not, Eng will lose far more ODIs than they win 4 of the top 7 being Prior, Solanki, Collingwood and Jones.

I wouldn't put Collingwood in the same bracket as the other 3.

I think Collingwood is very over-rated. When you take out his performances against minnow sides, his average goes from 32.4 down to 26.4, and his bowling from 37.1 to 42.7.

But his fielding is worth so much more to the side.

How bad is Prior then? I know Geraint Jones isn't making many blunders in ODIs, but for Chrissake he's such a stupid bat. He's not a bad bat, he's a stupid bat. That's even more annoying.

He has an average of 25 with the bat, and barely averages 20 this year so he's obviously not offering much with the bat. If he's being played as a specialist gloveman, well then that's just pathetic for English cricket.
