It is Younis Khan who is captaining the side right now, I think. Yeah, Blackwell looked clueless against Shoaib, so why not bring him on now?Beleg said:Inzamam continuing with the spinners. Again.

At best, Vaughan is average in ODIs.Barney Rubble said:Bear in mind our usual top 7 would read Tres, Strauss, Vaughan, KP, Fred, Colly, Jones. That gets rid of two of them. Personally I think you're wrong about Colly, so that gets rid of another. But I do agree that Jones' ODI batting is poor at best.
Sorry, misread your post. I thought you were dismissing the four of them as all being not good enough. Then I saw the "there's room for 2 at most" bit.social said:At best, Vaughan is average in ODIs.
I dont mind Colly and cant for the life of me understand why Solanki would bat ahead of him.
Subject to injury, your team is probably their best and still not good enough to beat the best consistently.
I think Collingwood is very over-rated. When you take out his performances against minnow sides, his average goes from 32.4 down to 26.4, and his bowling from 37.1 to 42.7.Barney Rubble said:Bear in mind our usual top 7 would read Tres, Strauss, Vaughan, KP, Fred, Colly, Jones. Part of what gets him in the side is his fielding and his running between the wickets. I've never rated him that highly, but he can do a job.Dasa said:I think Collingwood is very over-rated. He may have a reputation as a finisher and all that, but he does it far too sporadically...England should be looking for someone better.
So by the laws of probability it's going to be a long time before we do it again.ClownSymonds said:Well, just 66 to win, so an England win is definitely a possibility. It wasn't long ago that England put on 100 for the 9th wicket.
Agreed. This isn't looking good for Pakistan. Blackwell might actually pull it off.deeps said:i don't understand why they took afridi out of the attack for malik
afridi has 3 wickets from his 6 overs. Pakistan NEED another one
i understand Aktar being brought on, i'd understand Naved Ul Hassan being brought on... But malik!?
Had they not played Anderson they would've been chasing a lot more than 210.Jono said:Yeah but they subbed Bell at the start of the match. They didn't know they'd only be chasing 210.
