No need to wait for James.

Making two addresses to waste your life trolling is one matter. Making ten suggests you need psychiatric assessement.

Plunkett looked a bit wild & ragged to me. More so than when I've seen him before, so it possibly may be nerves. Looked to be bowling at a decent-ish lick, Sky weren't showing the the speed gun readings for some reason but to the naked eye he looked low-mid 80s mph, slightly quicker than Hoggy maybe. Got one to leave Butt, but Salman looks to have a bit of a weakness to the ball slanting across him, so I'd say the jury remains out for mine.

Pretty certain this will be Udal's last test, admittedly he only bowled 3 overs but I didn't see any turn at all. No control either. He's proved to be the wrong pick for mine, can't help but think that our selectors had hoped some of Warney's stardust might've rubbed off. It hasn't. Monty Panesar looks to be head & shoulders above any of our other young spinners, but as his batting & fielding are sub-schoolgirl (and there's been one or two whispers in the press about his "attitude" too, he's not even in the academy intake this year, IIRC) I think Swann might get the nod for India.

Fred looked a bit down on pace today, but really we've been flogging him silly all year. He's such a big-hearted lad he'll keep coming in & even when operating at reduced steam he was our most economical bowler by some way.

Inzi's the key. And, I think you'll find the Pope's Catholic too! :D Looking like we might get a result tho, despite the overs being lost. It's been a good little series, shame it's only 3 tests really.

Well only 4 down, thought England may have gotten more. But they are still in this need to run throught the lowe half of the Pakistani batting line-up (including getting Inzi when he comes back out) & keep their score below of just above the 288 & bat well second time around putting up a big score putting Pakistan enough pressure to bowl them out in the 2nd innnings.

Also again i bring up Flintoff, if Vaughan doesn't realise that bowling him that much isn't such a good idea even though he's england's best all-round bowler he will suffer a breakdown pretty soon & England entire balance would be messed up

Shouldn't have had a first.

3 too many.

I was saying that months ago (well, when the squad was named)

I was telling people that before he even became pope, and all! :p

with England facing a serious lack of quality spinners,i don't care if he's worse than shabbir ahmed in bat.

i admire the way Fletch and Vaughan have taken the team, but i realy do think too much emphasis is put on being able to bat as a bowler.

btw Panesar is playing for Glenelg in South Australia. There's a few English players out in SA, Marshall, Shafayat, the Crooks

Any idea how they're all doing? Shafayat in particular, always rated him.

Eng did well yesterday as the wicket is pretty good for batting and their attack isnt that suited to Pakistani conditions - remarkable how they were able to hoop English balls around during the Ashes with reverse swing but have hardly achieved any at all in its traditional birth-place with a Kookaburra.

As usual, everything depends on Inzy and Mo-Yo. Get one out and the rest are likely to crumble.

Pakistan are without doubt the weakest batting line-up amongst the major countries. People criticised the WI in Aus recently but even they are better. Aside from Butt, Inzy and Mo-Yo (and only when conditions suit) the rest are hopeless.

As usual, the Pakistanis could prove me wrong and rack up a score of 500+ tomorrow but I think 230-250 is more likely.

.

Simon Jones was a massive loss for England! As an English supporter I'd actually rather Flintoff were missing! (well maybe not..)

Well one drops short of Collingwood and the next one is low to Flintoff. Obviously the latter was dropped...
You got that from listening to the radio did you, because it wasn't what they said.
