Also think he’s starting to suffer the same problem Vettori had, where the opposition know they can just sit on him and pick off the weaker bowlers.

Yeah, once the ball gets older they just wait on him now. Less opportunity to work people over without Boult/Jamieson/OG Wagner at the other end.

The problem with someone who failed as an opener and plays in a similar way to Williamson at 3 is we're vulnerable to opposition new ball bowlers getting on a roll.

But hey we're 21/3 so 300 run partnership incoming.
