Wow - what's with batsmen playing dumb, dumb shots down the ground straight to fielders? Styris in the last game, now Bell in this one. Bell didn't even really follow through that far...

NZ looking rather sluggish in the field, although credit to Pietersen and Cook for putting the pressure on.

Except for Martin and those 3 overs from Oram, the Kiwis have been excellent so far. 30 overs gone now, 118 for 3. Patel on. And on that note, I retire to bed.

Luke Wright tonking a bit, but too little too late

and out now. Shah still playing test cricket (Wright probably would have had 50 if Shah could run)

Dire choice making Ryder bowl the 48th and 50th over. Patel would have been a better choice.
