Brilliant tactics by Santner, but yes Richardson is right that it shouldn't be legal to hide (even inadvertently) over the boundary and only step into play just as the ball is bowled.

Southee is a myth. Him being our best test bowler of the last 2-3 years is just smoke and mirrors. He'll average 80 after this innings forever. Bet he prefers cats to dogs as well.

Broad being a good batsman because of stuff ages ago is the same energy as Southee being a bad test bowler because of poor L/O returns

Good comeback. Absolutely shocking that the useless santner still gets a test start, esp when we have 2 spinners who are so much better and have won us games recently.

Ajaz not getting selected is an absolute joke. Imagine if a batsman hit centuries on 2 overseas series in a row then gets dropped for a batsman averaging less than 20 I the home series.

Imo the continued santner selection is 10x worse than when guppy was an auto test choice. At least guppy had potential to be a decent test opener.
Santner is the worst test cricketer out of anyone in the test playing world imo.

If he plays in oz Ahead of ajaz and sommerville may as well boycott the tests for corrupt selection. As that's all it is.
