this is howsie-on-wagner levels of denial from you tbhyou're going full howsie on this no-one was sticking the boot into tastle
Yeah I certainly don't remember it. I said it was a terrible decision to put him on after that over, but was obviously joking because I'd been saying he should bowl for ages.you're going full howsie on this no-one was sticking the boot into tastle
Auckland day 5 was different, was tactical over-use of de Grandhomme in mid-innings to keep England score from getting too close to having NZ bat again before Boult and Southee came back for a final spell under the lights (which in the end wasn't needed). Made sense.Kane did the same with Tastle
yeah he should have backed his spinner on both occassions otherwise they're just fillerAuckland day 5 was different, was tactical over-use of de Grandhomme in mid-innings to keep England score from getting too close to having NZ bat again before Boult and Southee came back for a final spell under the lights (which in the end wasn't needed). Today harder to explain, not much movement with a 68 over ball so assume Kane chose de Grandhomme again as he didn't want Bairstow to hit some cheap boundaries against the leggie (remembering the ODI). Which makes it strange that he took off de Grandhomme after only 3 overs. Think he doubled down on a mistake.
To be fair to Albi, even though he's clearly pro-Sodhi and to some extent anti-Astle by extension, he wasn't in on that.didn't stop you lot sticking the boot into Tastle
It really seemed like there was at the time, but I went and had a look at it was mainly just Athlai being a dick. He made so many posts about it that it seemed like more a trend than it really was though.you're going full howsie on this no-one was sticking the boot into tastle
Astle is a spud.
TBF I'm as surprised as Trent that a chance would come from Tastle right now
Just because he has got Bairstow out twice in 3 overs doesn't mean he isn't a spud ftr. It just means Bairstow likes potatoes.
The best thing about Todd Astle is that he is able to answer the question of “why isn’t Williamson bowling him?” within just a few deliveries of being handed the ball
Wagner isn't...big fan of whoever put these stumps in. plenty of cartwheel porn today.
Yeah, it's a belter. 400 par at least. This is such a good pitch though, Leach looks comfortable and I've seen him bat before. He ain't normally very comfortable.
I think it's probably closer too 350 given both teams batting line ups to be honest.Yeah, it's a belter. 400 par at least.
