u mean like Harmison of 2003? :-O
Yes its a good comparison I think, him and Mahmood, Harmison was ridiculed too at the time.

I certainly screamed abuse at him, I'm not proud of it though:unsure:

Bhajji's incidence is the worst I have watched. I am happy that I wasn't watching the game with my dad or with my kids and I hope this is taken seriously by ICC. Bhajji's deserves a 10 match suspension and his entire match fee for this kind of disregard and disrespect to the Umpires, players most importantly millions of cricket fans watching.

If you didn't have a friggin clue, you should have kept your mouth shut. Idiot !!

This stands right up there with Murali's finger wagging to fans and worse than Mcgrath-Sarwan incident. What a jerk !!!

There was no way Harbhajan could have known that he was bowled and not stumped. Look at the clip again, he didn't turn back until Prior came up front. He just didn't believe that Piertson could've turned the ball so much. Anyway, this behavior is quite common in the Australian team, but of course they're quite immune to punishment or censure from ICC and fans alike.
Dont start this nonsense again. There should be no justification for this kind of behavior.

I hope he fails, nothing personal against him though , but i don't want him to do great.

You see i have English team's interest at heart too!

Its not a bad idea for Karthik to come good for India, we need a reserver wkt keeper so that if Dhoni needs to be rested (given the hectic schedule that the team has, with idiotic games in Dubai etc) , you need more bench strenght and depth. Australia already have tried Brad Haddin and England have, for better or worse, Matt Prior as a reserve specialist keeper. So I hope Karthik does good for himself and the team.

There's no way his final gesture (f*** you) can be justified, but his remaining at the crease can be attributed to his being unsure whether he was bowled or it was a stumping attempt, which is a genuine uncertainty considering Prior was so close to the stumps. Still, Bhajji made a complete fool of himself and ruined his image a little there.

Thats very tame with what players usually say to each other out in the middle.

It has been 21 months since Mahmood's debut tho, not a case of him just being picked when he's completely raw with little coaching done on his bowling.

I dont really see the parallels to Anderson in this regard, Anderson was frequently in the England home test squads then left out as 12th man and taken on tours but not getting a game, this hasn't happened with Mahmood, Lancs have just not picked him very often. That will change this year because we don't have 2 overseas players.
Even when we did have two, neither were a seamer, though.

Hmm, well it's a good move I suppose, although I wanted to see them have another shot at striking form here. Here's what I'd like.

Dravid
Uthappa
Pathan
Yuvraj
Raina
Rao
Karthik
Powar
Munaf/Harbhajan
VR Singh
Sreesanth

I'd love to see the three quickies bowling together.

McGrath told Sarwan he'd rip his effin throat out.

I really don't think this compares.

Seriously. Bhajji's gesture shouldn't be justified but it's not as big of a deal as some are making it out to be.

Strauss looking good here. Sreesanth clocking 140 with regularity here and bowling a good line, one was marginally short and put away impressively by Strauss. Pathan not as disciplined yet but he's getting back into the groove slowly ... maiden over from Pathan now.

Sreesanth bowling some absolute gems now.

Like that Sreesanth is back into the team. :)

3.2 Sreesanth to Strauss, no run, tight and straight, at 139.6kmph, Strauss plays it defensively towards mid off

Is that you doing the cricbuzz commentary adharcric :p
