Yes its a good comparison I think, him and Mahmood, Harmison was ridiculed too at the time.honestbharani said:u mean like Harmison of 2003?
I certainly screamed abuse at him, I'm not proud of it though

Dont start this nonsense again. There should be no justification for this kind of behavior.sessabmud said:There was no way Harbhajan could have known that he was bowled and not stumped. Look at the clip again, he didn't turn back until Prior came up front. He just didn't believe that Piertson could've turned the ball so much. Anyway, this behavior is quite common in the Australian team, but of course they're quite immune to punishment or censure from ICC and fans alike.

You see i have English team's interest at heart too!
There's no way his final gesture (f*** you) can be justified, but his remaining at the crease can be attributed to his being unsure whether he was bowled or it was a stumping attempt, which is a genuine uncertainty considering Prior was so close to the stumps. Still, Bhajji made a complete fool of himself and ruined his image a little there.Sanz said:Dont start this nonsense again. There should be no justification for this kind of behavior.
Sanz said:Bhajji's incidence is the worst I have watched. I am happy that I wasn't watching the game with my dad or with my kids and I hope this is taken seriously by ICC. Bhajji's deserves a 10 match suspension and his entire match fee for this kind of disregard and disrespect to the Umpires, players most importantly millions of cricket fans watching.
If you didn't have a friggin clue, you should have kept your mouth shut. Idiot !!
This stands right up there with Murali's finger wagging to fans and worse than Mcgrath-Sarwan incident. What a jerk !!!
It has been 21 months since Mahmood's debut tho, not a case of him just being picked when he's completely raw with little coaching done on his bowling.grecian said:Yes its a good comparison I think, him and Mahmood, Harmison was ridiculed too at the time.

Even when we did have two, neither were a seamer, though.superkingdave said:I dont really see the parallels to Anderson in this regard, Anderson was frequently in the England home test squads then left out as 12th man and taken on tours but not getting a game, this hasn't happened with Mahmood, Lancs have just not picked him very often. That will change this year because we don't have 2 overseas players.
McGrath told Sarwan he'd rip his effin throat out.Sanz said:Bhajji's incidence is the worst I have watched.
