Because he is a specialist in bowling leg side full-tosses when the fine leg is up.

I don't think ppl hate him, the fact remains that he is not good enough for the team.I mean guys like Zaheer Khan,RPS,VRS,Balaji are all better than Ajit, yet AA gets the nod

with a 5.15 economy rate and bowls pies to every good batsmen and gets wkts at the most useless occasions..yep he is handy indeed. Can't bat, can't field and lets not even speak about his bowling.


Edit: Furthermore he is the most experienced (no of matches played) bowler in the Indian cricket team, more experienced than Pathan, Harbhajan, Sreesanth, Powar and the non playing Munaf and R.P.Singh and he is one of our main bowlers and what does he bowl, pies. Sometimes I feel that even I can smash him for fours and sixes. For a man with the level of experience that he has and the inconsisntency and incompetence he displays, if this were any other regular job (or for that matter any other country's player) he would be fired or axed.
