We are going in with 5 bowlers, 5 batsman. Sehwag counts as neither. And in the field, we are going as 9, as sehwag counts as -1.
Chill, buddy. You seem to have a personal vendetta against Sehwag and Dhoni recently.

Seriously, recently you've been acting as if Sehwag and Dhoni are devils who deserve capital punishment. Take it easy.

Its not personal, not at all. I strongly believe that Sehwag isn't doing the team any good by being here, and Dhoni should not be in the tests at all.

It most likely will be Yuvraj because he had it in Pakistan when Sehwag went down. Kaif is a better choice though because he can actually be groomed as future captain, he's an experienced captain.

Maybe Dhoni for playing those shots in Mumbai. Sehwag, he just needs to be whipped until he starts running some treadmills.

/Seriously though, you are playing for your country at the international level. Show some pride and work ethic, and get in shape.

2 balls in the first over shouldnt almost be rolling along the ground after pitching on an international standard pitch imho :)

Well, valid points there, but harping on about it every second post you make wont make any difference, will it? It will only irritate those who have to read it again and again.

But I suppose there are valid points for them being in the sides as well. Dhoni must imporve his keeping (which is not an impossible thing to ask of any keeper, is it?) and then his presence in the test side adds so much strength to the side. As for Sehwag, well, lets see what happens next match.

Agreed on Sehwag, why does Ganguly get hit for fitness if this overweight blob doesn't? But then, you're saying that Inzy should be punished in Pakistan as well?

Dhoni is quite fit, he played a mindless shot but we've seen that he does have temperament but lost it on that occasion. Maybe inexperience, maybe audacity, but he needs a chance to fix it.

Kaif was the obvious choice 2 years ago, because he has captaincy written all over him. Unfortunately he's not a permanent member in the test team, and his ODI spot is far from secured as well.

Hopefully he can regain some form because domestic captaincy experience is very important IMO, and he has it.

Ya, its because the captain should be a certain inclusion in any side. And among the younger players in the side, only Yuvraj seems so at the moment.

I don't have a problem with Dhoni improving his keeping. But he shouldn't be trying to do that at the Test level. Let him do that in domestic circuit. When and if he does that there, I have no problem with a recall (assuming, he stops playing those shots as well).

I think most Indian fans (talking about the general public, not this board) seem to forget that some problems can be fixed without having to change the side.

Yes! I think fitness should be a requierement. Inzamam's running between the wickets is legendary. If you perform, you can sometimes take pressure off your fitness, but there should be a standard rule regarding fitness and what's expected.

Sure, but we shouldn't have to put up with him at the Test level while he tries to fix it. Thats what domestic cricket is for.

Since when has James Anderson been from Manchester? Mahmood is tenous as well, it may be part of Gr Manchester but most people wouldn't consider Bolton part of Manchester.

Anyway, good start by India, looks a low scoring pitch.
yea, but i'm basing it on the fact that they play for Lancashire CC, well maybe i should have said 2 Lancashire blokes.

Well in tests, Kumble should be the VC without doubt, no one else deserves it as much.
In ODIs, Kaif or Yuvraj.
