| don't know what Flintoff is doing here, give them 2 a ball an they'll get there!
Don't see how the first regarding score when they came in is more relevant than how the situation was after some more wickets fell.Fair second point. Maybe India could have got more had Kaif hung around. But considering the situations the innings were played under, I put the Kaif inning higher. Obviously we can and are disagreeing.Sanz said:When Collingwood came on to bat - England were 110/3 and then 136/4, When Kaif came to bat - India were 149/4. England managed 390 because Collingwood hung on to bat with the tail whereas when Kumble got out, India still had two more wickets in hand, If kayed, kaif had stayed, India could have managed more than 323.
Hypothetically speaking...Pratyush said:Don't see how the first regarding score when they came in is more relevant than how the situation was after some more wickets fell.Fair second point. Its a spot second decision to run or not. And you never know if risks can augur for yourselves or your partner. Mos people wouldn't go for it would they.Tom Halsey said:Jaffer didn't take the risk for himself - it was nearly Pathan who got run-out...
Very good point.vic_orthdox said:Hypothetically speaking...
You could come in at 5/80.
You could be 30* when it's 5/80.
Much easier to bat in the second scenario than the first, as your actually seeing the ball well and your set.
