*Official* England in India 2023/24 #CryMoreTour

Gob

International Coach
That's one of the slimmest umpires calls i've ever seen for LBW
Smith in the seconds innings at Perth vs Pakistan was a worthy rival. No surprises in seeing who was the ump then (Joel) and who is now (Dharmablahblah)

King Kane

International Debutant
That couldn't have been a much worse start for England, they got off to a slow start and then lost both openers before tea anyway.

What is it with Indian DRS that produces consistently wrong decisions against white people?

Jadeja copped one earlier in this very series where the third umpire couldn't decide whether it hit bat or pad first so stayed with the on field decision.

And then on top of that, it was umpires call on both impact and ball tracking.
Kohli copped like two of those in a short space of time around the BG series in 2017 I think.

This is different though. Institutional racism against white people is not the same as Jadeja copping a harsh but fair decision

Only on Indian DRS does that take a piece of leg stump. Not making a difference, but some of this DRS stuff stinks.
Nah the ball tracking was absolutely fine. It simply should never be given out on-field - batsman is taking a middle-leg guard, hit on the front pad above the knee roll, decent angle on the ball. I can buy the projection but it's simply not a good decision.

I remember there being one very similar to that in the Ashes as well. Might have been Travis Head?
