Don’t bowl Bumrah anymore so he can play the next test
IndeedThat's one of the slimmest umpires calls i've ever seen for LBW
Only on Indian DRS does that take a piece of leg stump. Not making a difference, but some of this DRS stuff stinks.I mean... that's not a very good decision, really.
There was nothing wrong with the ball tracking in this instance. Blame dharmasena if you want to, probably shouldn't have given it.Only on Indian DRS does that take a piece of leg stump. Not making a difference, but some of this DRS stuff stinks.
Finally living up to the thread title then, well done.Only on Indian DRS does that take a piece of leg stump. Not making a difference, but some of this DRS stuff stinks.
Smith in the seconds innings at Perth vs Pakistan was a worthy rival. No surprises in seeing who was the ump then (Joel) and who is now (Dharmablahblah)That's one of the slimmest umpires calls i've ever seen for LBW
just remove umpire's callAlso hitting is hitting. If the tech is reliable within 1-2mm then it's the correct decision and for batsmen to moan about umpires call is just being entitled.
Jadeja copped one earlier in this very series where the third umpire couldn't decide whether it hit bat or pad first so stayed with the on field decision. That's one of the slimmest umpires calls i've ever seen for LBW
Anti-colonial technology. What is it with Indian DRS that produces consistently wrong decisions against white people?
Nojust remove umpire's call
It hits both pads does it not?I don't think he gave that out thinking it had hit the front pad tbh.
Kohli copped like two of those in a short space of time around the BG series in 2017 I think.Jadeja copped one earlier in this very series where the third umpire couldn't decide whether it hit bat or pad first so stayed with the on field decision.
And then on top of that, it was umpires call on both impact and ball tracking.
Nah the ball tracking was absolutely fine. It simply should never be given out on-field - batsman is taking a middle-leg guard, hit on the front pad above the knee roll, decent angle on the ball. I can buy the projection but it's simply not a good decision.Only on Indian DRS does that take a piece of leg stump. Not making a difference, but some of this DRS stuff stinks.
I remember there being one very similar to that in the Ashes as well. Might have been Travis Head?Kohli copped like two of those in a short space of time around the BG series in 2017 I think.
This is different though. Institutional racism against white people is not the same as Jadeja copping a harsh but fair decision
I think for tall or hefty batsmen, lbws often look much plumber live than they are in reality because of their really large frames screwing up the front on perspective a bit. Inzamam copped a fair few rough ones in his career because of this.Looked dead on first view to me.
