Exact same odds for an Indian win as per before the innings started. Little bit off, India surely closer to a win than when they were 470 odd behind...
Think it might be more to do with time left now but I would agree they are closer to a win than at the start of the innings. The fact this pitch hasn't done anything doesn't help either, less likely to get a lollapse than in the previous tests on pitches that were doing more.

Not moaning about the pitch as they have got the game on in difficult circumstances and well done to them for that.

This looks like a pretty typical subcontinental pitch tbh. Will look flat as hell three and a half days before all hell breaks loose out of nowhere in the last two innings.

If that's the case, India should have the advantage if they bat upto tea tomorrow.

This is an amazing opportunity for a triple. Plenty of time to get there match situation wise, really flat pitch, tired england after a long series, average spinners doing the majority of the bowling.

Now watch him get out next over.

So what I'm getting here is that 477 was never close to enough on this much of a pancake, meaning India's inevitably sizeable lead will probably be enough for us to panic and collapse in a heap. I don't think the pitch needs to deteriorate all that much for this to be the likely outcome.

Please open with the quicks tomorrow and keep them on for a while, watching our spinners is painful.

Whatever it takes!!!
Lol.. Root is a bit of a **** like Anderson, isn't he? It was an obvious throw at the batsman's head, no matter how he acts as if it was unintentional. Him sledging Nair was just sooo pitifully puny.

Good that the Bangalore boys have it back as good as they got.
