Although Duckett clearly needs to be left out, I do wonder if we missed a trick in the second innings of the first Test by promoting Stokes over him. May not have worked but if he'd been given licence to go out and score a quick 30 or so, it might've changed his outlook going into the second Test?

**** this is a mess. Rahul's injured and Dhawan wasn't recalled. Parthiv will be opening now along with keeping and he hasn't been doing that too often of late. Karun Nair debuts which should be fun because it's been a good week for debutants in general (well Mad Dog aside at least)
