It's pretty chilly over there this time of year, and the stadium is a bit outside the city. Might improve a bit through the day.

Mohali's always had crap crowds though, remember Laxman and Ojha taking us to that thrilling win against the Aussies in front of empty stands. Don't know why it always gets a Test match, would prefer they go with Ferozeshah Kotla.
Any of the Indian team call this ground home?

Gets OK crowds and produces good sporting pitches. Quality of cricket is usually great.

It gets test matches because it produces results, generally in favour of India, so I think we should all stfu and keep playing at Mohali

Whatever it takes!!!
Manjrekar sprouting crap already.. Parthiv missing the ball's swing and diving to take a ball to his right off Shami bowling to Cook. Manjrekar calls it a "great take"... Its poor keeping, you dumbass. He is not picking or following the ball to his hands. He is going to the first line without allowing for the swing and diving to make up for it.

It's not just the drop, Parthiv has failed to take a few as well. You can argue that they're not used to the new ball swinging after is passes the bat, which is a hilarious argument considering these are international new ball bowlers
