A wicket is looking less likely now though, would have been a real chance if we had got one of these straight after the last wicket.

Really disappointed by this 4th day. England batted too long at the rate they were going and consumed 75 overs in their second innings.
All the while India never even looked bothered in trying to win the match. They have blocked and scrapped their way through 30 odd overs.
However there is a positive and that is England have had the better of India throughout the test. Hopefully it demolishes the demons from Dhaka.

There is massive grey area between leaving and playing. Not sure if this makes sense, but it was surely closer to a shot than to a leave.

I think it's just clever from Ashwin. There's no real way for the umpire to tell for sure if he's just playing down completely the wrong line, even though he almost certainly knows what he's doing. Those are never going to be given.
Well this was a great effort at least. Although now it's given me a small measure of actual hope for the series which will inevitably come back to bite me.

I accept that batsmen tucking their bats behind their pads has always been part of the game, on the basis that they've always been allowed to get away with it, but I still don't think it's right
Yeah sort of reminds me of that first Test in UAE, this was a better performance than that though, so many good things to come out of it.
