Daniel Towns will be out of cricket action for the next 2 games due to a broken arm sustained whilst playing squash. During a friendly contest with fellow Webhead Neil Pickup, Towns tripped on his untied laces and found his right arm bracing a sudden fall.

The resulting fracture is said to be hairline, but the doctor has not yet confirmed where exactly it is located. The Selection Panel has no plans to call up injury cover for Towns as of yet.

Bugger, just got my left hand back into health, too! I'll assume that covers not "the next two games" but more so "the next two days" as the warmup OD's are on Thursday and Friday? Bit confusing when you don't know which of the two games being played on Friday will be the second game, otherwise. :p

That's Thursday and Friday.

when i fractured my wrist back in 96/97, i played football a couple of weeks later, tho i didnt tell the ref i had my arm in plaster and i gave a couple of their players a crack and scored. Happy days

The CW XI have just travelled to Hobart for a postponed warm-up against Australia "A". Torrential rains raged Hobart yesterday, but the covers held tight and we're ready to go for the first of two warm-ups here.
