*Official* CW XI in Australia (The VB Series)

Still very dissapointing overall.. The bowlers did well both with the ball and the bat..

Still plenty of work to be done on the batting and in the field with 3 crucial catches dropped...

We cannot think turning up will be enough to make the final, we are now a fair way behind but improvement in our performances can still get us to our goal...

ARGH! how damn frustrating!

I dont know what hurts more, the Blues Innings defeat, or this ONE RUN loss! not a great day...

Personally I'm delighted to get back into some form after a string of scores under 10. 52 off 61 was a good effort.

As a team that's extremely dissapointing, getting so close but not winning it. The bowlers did a good job of restricting but not enough batsmen hit runs. Buts being the only other half century maker with his 61. Some good batting from the tail though.

Let's win the next one and win it well!

Don't blame the other batters Cloete, you should have seen them through with that start. Take some responsibility. Not many people would be happy with 52 and the team losing.

Excuse me Kyle?

I wasn't "blaming" anyone, I'm just saying all the batsmen ddin't get enough runs! I'm happy with 52 because it's the only sizeable score i've had the whole tour.

Don't jump to conclusions like that. And whether I'm happy or not has nothing to do with anything. The fact is I'm not happy anyway, "As a team that's extremely dissapointing, getting so close but not winning it."

Anyway don't post things like that. It's utterly ridiculous and you're just trying to stir soemthing that isn't there. And, well it's unfair on me that you're trying to criticise me for something like this!

personally i very much doubt he was happy about the team losing. as for him being happy to make 52. why wouldn't he be? a solid contribution.
Thanks age.. said it perfectly.

Sorry mate, but it is always disapointing when a player digs the boot in after wrapping himself.

Just my personal opinion, I'll let it rest, I guess it goes back to when you attacked the team I was in when you were captain.

Yeah I was hardly wrapping myself. Just good to get back into a bit of form, obviously I should have stepped up and gone on to bat throgu hthe innings, then I would have given myself a wrap for doiung the right thing. But, like I said, just good to get some form back because before this game I was more a passenger rather than a contributor.

I know it'll be hard for you to forget and forgive. But I hope you can.. eventually. Obviously it was compeltely dumb and I was in remorse a few moments after saying it. I've regretted that for a long time and will continue to do. But please don't bring it up when I haven't done any wrong doings. But I understand why you think back to it.

Ouch.

Tis a shame I couldn't of saved a couple more runs with my bowling, or managed to turn a couple of 1's into 2's towards the end there!

We look forward to the next game against Australia, and hopefully pick up our act a little and make a contest of it.
