VB Series Game 5: Pakistan v Australia
Australia got revenge against Pakistan in the second meeting between the two teams. Matthew Hayden and Ricky Ponting hit 82 each as the Aussies comfortably chased the target of 241 set by Pakistan.
Jason Gillespie was the star earlier, taking 3 wickets to limit the Pakistanis despite good contributions from Butt, Hameed, Youhana and Inzamam-ul-Haq.

Just for clarity I am very much around and am deeply disappointed as everyone else in the performances to date.
I apologise most profusely to everyone for my lack of input to date, I can only say I've been placed in a very difficult situation that has meant I have been unable to attend anywhere near as much as I'd like to.
Listen, guys, I can't wave a magic wand - all I can do is say you've got it in you, of that there is absolutely no question - ability does not just disappear in such an incredibly short time.
We've got a huge game coming-up tonight and if we play like we can we will win - it really is as simple as that.
Pretty straightforward rallying-call, I know, guys, but it's all I can do.

The Aus-Pak game was yesterday's. You can pretty much take WI dates to equal our dates when it comes to matches, and the d/n delineation makes do difference to simming time.

The Aus-Pak game was simmed today because HODI was giving trouble yesterday when I looked to sim it. Tomorrow is an offday by the schedule I believe, so a live sim may be on for around 8pm GMT.

Markus Catches The Bug
Ian Markus has been ruled out of the upcoming game between the CW XI and Australia with flu-like symptoms. The right-hander saw allrounder Camps sidelined with the same condition earlier in the series.

i still wish to see more of the coach around. if he wants to jump aboard the CW bandwagon.. numerous posts in topics such as these are required. If the board wish to punish me for the actions I took... then so be it.
However if his absence was due to a reason beyond his control and he's willing to inform us players of what this reason was... i'm willing to forgive it and get over it...
for now i'm just going to sit in my bed waiting to get rid of this cold
