Nath Patrick IMO is terrible he didnt even make his school side at a fairly average cricket school I would no this as my Dad is the sportsmaster there.

You helped coach Patrick and were very enthusiastic in your cricket :p

Pickup you play 5th division or something?
Keep your nose out of stuff that doesn't involve you. Especially if you're gonna go mouthing off about other people.

Make a thread, you might get a decent response.
Okay Neil I promise this is the last post on this thread about a North American meet-up. I just needed a place to respond to np10.

I really doubt it, cuz' not only do we have very little North Americans, transportation and many other problems come into play. Plus some of us, including me, are too young to go meet-up somewhere in some other city, my parents won't let me  . Maybe in a few years or unless you guys wanna come to Toronto, which I doubt!

Hell we should have an English Cweb V Aus Cweb match, would be gun, but impossible to organise.
Actually nothing is impossible. Our business has just had a sponsor come onboard for a Coaching project for about 20 000 GBP (approx $35 000 US).

Something like that would make it possible. Who knows some corporate execs with excess budgets that needs spending on a low level International cricket game? :)

Barney i would class you in the same boat.
Well, no, not really. Since Nath clearly isn't around to stick up for himself, I thought I'd do it as he's a good guy. Describing him as "terrible" was a little harsh, especially if you've never seen him play.

Show some tact FFS...

Well based on evidence I got suggested that Nath didnt make a school team that is in fact fairly bad in the age groups. He coached instead but i did give him a compliment apprountly he is very enthusiastic about his cricket.

That's damning him with faint praise though, isn't it? Besides, he's just suffered a nasty injury a while back - almost career-ending IIRC - so give the lad a break.

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly does ffs mean, I've seen it used many times here on CW.
For ****s sake. I prefer it without the asterisks though.
