I'm not coming if there are 12 of Chef De Groot's finest pies.
The scrambled egg, seawater and mint sauce one nearly killed me, I tell you!

The pies at Derbyshire are to die for. They have a De Groots franchise.

No, not to die for - to die after, that's right.

But Ramps may want to give Clarke more than 2 overs...

So its single fares on the trains yes?? If the pie doesn't get me, rikki's six hitting will.......or the bowling for that matter. Note to self : sit behind the bowlers arm, that way rikki will never bowl me.

Yes. You're rich. You should know how it works. He gets taxi to Derby. I walk to Derby. Middle people use public transport

I think he means from Derby station to the Racecourse.

A shame the game isn't on a Saturday - I could have done a guided tour around the old market (still a couple of great fish stores there). Bet we could have filled the ground with Norwegians.

I'm confused, could someone succinctly put what's being planned because I'm free for the 4th I think but not 14th and wouldn't mind catching some of the cricket if possible.

The 14th I made up.

The 4th is a goer, but I'll have to cry off as train issues have led to that being the day I come home from Exeter to Cleethorpes.

I'm going I hope, should be there by half eight if all goes to plan.

E-mail me your mobile number if you want to and I'll send you a text if I make it in and could go for a drink?

Yeah, Virgin Value tickets have to be booked early if you want the things - Exeter to Doncaster for £11.50, can't really argue.

Stop off at Derby, it goes through there. Then lug all your stuff around with you.

Dedication is all it takes. :p
