Mamesh, Wilson - huge efforts.

I wasn't that great in the tests, but I'm pretty happy to average 20 odd with the ball and 30 odd with the bat on the tour as a whole. Hopefully more of the same in the ODers, from everyone.

Congrats on another impressive win, swept the series quite convincingly. Apologies for being utterly useless with the ball though. :(

I like the sound of that - Season X - it'll serve to get a whole new audience for the game. It's a sleeker, cooler representation of Season 10. Basically, it proves the fact that Roman Numerals are insanely awesome.

Collins rested, allowing us to play a double spin attack, which increases our bowling options, considering that we also have four quality seamers in there.
It's OK, you're allowed to say it: dropped. ;)

Cricket Web 'A' ease past Windies 'B'
Cricket Web 'A' vs West Indies 'B'

Captain Sean Fuller took 3 wickets and hit the winning runs, as the Webheads breezed past Cricket Web 'B' in St. Lucia. A strong showing with the ball saw the home side limited to just 215/7 over the course of their 50 overs. Jason Mohammed struck a pleasant 61, but could not power his team to a competitive total, and a big collapse saw 5 wickets fall for 24 runs, from a position of 184/2.

Thamba Mamesh chased a wide one first up, but James Stedman and Dinu DeSilva steadied things with a partnership of 111 against decidedly unpenetrative bowling. Both gave way after scoring half-centuries, however, and Alex Blackman was left stranded 1 short of his milestone when his skipper sealed the game.

West Indies 'B' 217/7 (50 overs)
Cricket Web 'A' 219/3 (44.1 overs)

Cricket Web 'A' won by 7 wickets.

Cricket Web 'A' vs West Indies 'B'

Anthony Lezama sparkled with the bat in an unexpected cameo performance, as Cricket Web 'A' destroyed West Indies 'B' for the second straight game. Lezama seemed to find the boundary at will, and stroked 8 fours with a six on his way to an unbeaten half-century.

The innings lasted just 39 balls, and saw the young wicket-keeper bring up his milestone with the winning run. At the other end, Sean Bennett was in equally superb form, unbeaten on 85 after a handsome opening partnership of 106 with James Stedman.

With the ball, it was Xavier Rose who led the figures, taking 3 for 34. However, Mike Wilson's 2 top order wickets set West Indies 'B' back from a strong position of 110/1.

West Indies 'B' 179/8 (50 overs)
Cricket Web 'A' 180/1 (29.5 overs)

Cricket Web 'A' won by 9 wickets.
