Pretty happy to be selected. Bit disappointed not to finish my time for Queensland as I must admit, I'm still not entirely convinced as to how productive this camp will be... We'll see.

Congrats to everyone else who made it. Few surprising picsk though and a few I don't agree with.

Young Thompson recalled

After joining the CW XI ODI squad for the last two series without getting a cap, Callum Thompson has been recalled to the squad in the wake of Dave Watt's withdrawal. He will required to make his way to the CWBCC Stadium immediately.

Reports suggest that the a decision that came down to Kyle Wright or Thompson, with Thompson winning out in the end.

I'd like to congratulate Thompson on his call up to the side, he definitely deserves his spot. After considering retirement from ODIs, I reconsidered and still have some goals left to achieve in ODIs. However, I'll have to let my domestic figures do the 'talking' to get me back into the squad.
