You'll Never Walk Alone
 Awesome, I can bowl at Lara. I really hope to put in a big effort for this game, I`ll be taking it very seriously against some quality opposition.

Great looking team we have, it will be great to play alongside Hoy, Chaulk and others. :)

Cricket Web XI vs President's XI
at the Sir Frank Worrell Cricket Ground

Jermaine Lawson and Deighton Butler shared 6 wickets and stunned the Cricket Web tourists, as they collapsed to a paltry 218 all out and defeat by 29 runs. David Kearsley grafted for a half-century, but the Webheads generally struggled to score runs on a slow wicket. Xavier Rose was the exception to the rule, and he blasted an unbeaten 30-run cameo to help restore some pride to the CW XI.

The President's XI had earlier batted first and reached 247/6, despite a great comeback by Rose which included the wicket of Brian Lara, first ball.

President's XI 247/6 (50 overs)
Cricket Web XI 218/9 (50 overs)

President's XI won by 29 runs.

Must improve my new-ball bowling. Good to be containing, but early wickets were really needed. Great job by Xavier, well bowled.

Cricket, Lovely Cricket
The bowling wasn't poor actually except the 5th bowler role. The 5 overs each proved costly.

The batsmen have played crap shots to get out far too often. We have had the same in the camp, tests (after which we have shown the balls to fight back) - but the question - why should be collapse when the talent is there and there isn't much in the pitch.

When Rose can smash an attack for 30*, a Pickup can show dedication with the bat, I don't understand what is wrong except seriousness/lack of disciplince.

Very poor guys.

If any thing, you should be more determined to put up a performance in the one day series. The way we have performed in this tour game is not the way to go about it.

Cricket Web XI vs Jamaica XI
at the Sir Frank Worrell Cricket Ground

Xavier Rose was in sparkling form once more, as he starred against the country of his birth in a comfortable 48-run victory for the CW XI. Rose struck a quick 20 at the end of the Webhead innings when it seemed as though things would come undone. He then claimed 3 wickets in a superb spell of seam bowling to help his team home.

After choosing to bat first, Brendon Goff was needed with a well-played half-century as his batsmen got starts but could not carry on. At 196/7 in the 42nd over, it seemed that the total was destined for mediocrity. The batting of Rose and Cunningham changed that, and the two added 35 off 30 balls, then Halsey joined Cunningham to push on to a score of 253/8.

Rose quickly removed Parchment in the Jamaican innings and Marlon Samuels then contributed a half-century in adding 110 runs with Danza Hyatt, who also reached 50. The Jamaicans could not get any momentum in their innings, however, and all the Webheads bowlers operated with a fair measure of control and consistency. Rose returned to dismiss Hyatt and Tamar Lambert, then Nath Patrick finished the innings with a superb spell of death bowling (3-0-9-1).

Great economy shown by the bowlers after a good all-round effort with the bat. Rose, Patrick & Cunningham in particular really didn't let much go at all.

Good overall team effort there. A bit more application by the batsmen and we'll do well in the ODIs.

Great team effort to come off the disappointing WI Pres. XI and record a victory over a handy Jamaican side. Batting was solid and bowling gave nothing away...
