Yep, feel like we left 15 runs or so on the board there but have a good total on the board with our spin options.

Massive wicket. Trego looked good, Jeetan yet again. That was dead as well, not sure what Trego is remonstrating about

Great partnership has put Somerset back in it with hitters to come. Patel and OHD aside our bowling has been ordinary

Chance goes begging for @hantscricket as Vince drops Ballance at third slip on 6 off Berg the over after Lyth departed.

Vince still not doing himself any favours.

5fer for Josh Poysden. He has started to play more back end of the year, important he starts playing + taking wickets in FC cricket.

Bit of a turner at Northampton it seems with Rob Keogh taking 8-51 so far- slightly surpassing his previous best of 3-35. Carlson on debut also with a 5 fer.

The trapdoor beckons for us I am afraid. Failure to get a decent replacement for Wagner in must be considered one of the big failures along with the general abjectness of the rest of the attack since starting the season with Anderson, Wagner, Jarvis. Kerrigan's lack of performance is pretty worrying.

Trego has taken us to town last night/this morning.

Duckett getting his prep in for the test tour of India by whacking around the spin at Northampton. 30 ball fifty after the last 20 wickets fell for 253 runs.

This post made me check out Keogh's career bowling stats on cricinfo for the first time, and I giggled at the List A average.

Can't get a look in for England in the ODI/T20 sides so decides to pretend he is playing it in the CC. 79* off 56 when the opposition just got rolled for 124.

Two conclusions to draw from this, one of which must be correct:

1. Ben Duckett is the finest player of ragging, unplayable wickets since Jack Hobbs.

2. Random **** happens in cricket for no reason

If we decide to wantonly cast off all doubts over inexperience and pick him for England I propose we call this attitude 'well ****ett'

You'd be pretty disappointed with your figures if you were Graeme White, wouldn't you?

First an eighteen year old debutant batsman who bowls some part time offies takes 5/28, then your own team-mate -- a batting allrounder at best -- takes 9/52 also bowling finger spin... and you only manage 1/42 off 13 even though it's your specialist discipline. In a way that's more damning then taking 0/150 in a 'normal' game.
