Do we need to televise test cricket? This Roses match is set up for a cracking final 5 sessions.

Bowlers putting Yorkshire in the driving seat here, if we win they'll have done all the work in each innings.

333 ahead almost certainl enough, fortunately we have a bloke averaging 75 this season coming in at #11 just to make sure

Guessing overthrows.
Weird though, because its no ball extras, not runs. So the batsman, evidently, never touched it.

Has someone gone full Harmison and pinged the ball off the knee of second slip out to deep cover -- letting Joyce eke his walking frame up and down the pitch for two -- before taking a shy at the stumps and conceding four more? Has the 'keeper made a right hash of making a right hash of it, attempting to redeem his concession of byes after inexplicably misgloving one by pinging ball at stump, only to miss entirely?

So many unanswered questions!

Yeah, I quite enjoy it. It is a noticeable drop in quality from IPL and Big Bash but I'd argue it is better than the Ram Slam and CPL.

Sky Sports 2 will show the Sussex vs Somerset match today from 6:30pm. I'll watch it as there's no International match for 2 days.

After a brief flirtation at least we can concentrate on the real business in hand now, avoiding relegation!

You won't go down. Would probably have to lose next 5 to even get sucked into it as even if you only draw games you will be picking up about 10 points a week. Surrey and Hampshire look very weak and you look much stronger than them. One more win should do it if you draw half the remaining games.

Yeah be very surprised if it is not Hampshire and Surrey going down, although we did somehow stay up last season so you never know. For all the injury problems we have had with the bowling it is the batting that is the problem, not not anything like good enough for division one. Still think the best bet is to go for turning pitches later in the summer, we get hardly any bonus points with the bat so draws don't really do us any good at all, just got to try and find a way to win a few.
