Kent - NSW trade
C.Cairns for D.Marsh
Kent manager Rich2001 went on to say:
"D.Marsh is a quality player who has given everything to the club over the last two season. He was the figure head of gaining promotion to D1 in the OD game, finishing the season with an avg of 121. However this season saw the batting improved and as a result he has been forced to slip down the order to around 6 and really it hasn't been the best oppotunity to deliver the goods, with the teams current form. However saying that he has still avg'ed 37/30 this season and will be opening for the remainder of the season.
C.Carins has had a poor season by his standards, however lack of chances at the mighty NSW club have also been a big factor. Although Carins isn't as good with the bat as Marsh his bowling is far better and will give Kent their first ever full All Rounder that they have craved for so long.. As a result S.Hutton will now be likly to make way but could well remain in the final 10.
