In the Indian team, the bowlers who can bat a bit are getting wickets and a few runs. The batsmen who can bowl a bit (and bowl a lot here) are neither getting wickets nor runs. They still struggle to take middle-overs wickets, often underscored when you look at fours and sixes hit in the closing overs. This should be looked into, and selection should be planned accordingly. Five proper bowlers, with Ashwin, Irfan and Praveen in the XI regularly, should be the way to go. Not overbowling a struggling Sehwag, Raina, Rohit or Kohli, or persisting with a lemon like Jadeja.
Compare Raina's all-round record, or Rohit's, with Jadeja's, and you'd wonder why one bloke is free of most of the criticism. These two blokes put a lot at stake for the team, though the team puts a lot at stake for the third, who uses his place in the team to make easy big money. All of them have been poor with the bat. One of them, a good bloke with the bat, has been shown the bench a lot sooner, because he's struggling, but the other, a very poor bat, still enjoys the confidence of the management, because he can chuck an orange sixty times.
