Adam won't hide anywhere he would keep a straight face and say "this was a fluke victory for the black caps", and lucky knock by fleming. He is such an idiot.

From cricinfo

David writes in with this "It really has to be said that New Zealand's World Cup preparation is suffering due to a lack of decent competition from their opponents in the Chappell Hadlee series." Wonder what he's talking about!

IMO, since the aussies know if they lose another game they would slip to no.2 spot in odi rankings. So that should be a reason good enough for them to be more focussed and determined to win the next 2 games.

Shocking display from Australia today. Every aspect of our game has been dire. Injuries or not, there are no excuses for this. Hopefully it is just a once-off and we come back strongly.

Full credit to New Zealand however, they've been excellent all day and deserve this as do their fans.

What a shot! What a way to finish! Sixer!
The commentators picked it.

10 wicket win for the Kiwi's. They should take a lot of confidence into the next game.

Shame about the Oram injury, sort of bittersweet. But there should be enough time for it to recover before the important end of the World Cup

I dont know what to say......:-O . normally at this point I am saying who should be dropped and who should come in to the side,..and "we would have won if we had held our catches"( even though the other team dropped 10 sitters) etc, but there is nothing to talk about.....

I hope we get back to losing quickly otherwise I will have little to write about on this forum..

Probably the worst game by an aussie ive ever seen. Just terrible in every department. Our first ever 10 wicket ODI loss.

Better than *** that match was. Watching the aussie "c" team screw up. C team or any team, New Zealand have won by crushing them, australia is australia, never mind they were missing five players, **** happens. A win is a win

Hussey is looking really dire.
Hussey? what merited him being captain? Hussey has only recently, i guess last 24 months been in the australian side, for a permanent replacement for Michael Bevan I guess. I mean i dont know who else could have been captain. However, he bat well against New Zealand batting conditions. Still hussey is an awesome batsmen, probably better than Bevan... and I love Bevan

I wonder why Lou Vincent's First Chance score really was?

Granted that it was a bad day and Australia were outplayed, but without some of their big stars, their 'second XI' so to speak really is down with the other countries. Certainly no sign of this greath depth Australian cricket is meant to have out there today.

It was a golden opportunity to give Watson a proper bat and give him a chance to play a big knock that he really needs to confirm to us that he is an international cricketer, not one being picked on talent and potential alone, but no they decided not to for whatever reason.

And I know this going to sound like a rant, but as good as he is as a bowler, I cannot stand Nathan Bracken for the life of me, when will he get rid of that shocking hair cut, what is it? It's not a mullet, so a mop of hair from a guy is too tight to get a hair cut. And then there was that shot that he got bowled out to. What was he thinking? That he was Michael Clarke or Ricky Ponting because that was a brain-dead shot, it really was. He's lucky he is a tailender not a top order batsman, because IMO that would have been drop-worthy.

Lack of options?
